We did the Mist Trail hike to Vernal and Nevada Falls and made sure to grab glimpses of El Capitan, Bridal Veil Falls and Yosemite Falls from down in the valley (just unbelievable) 🥹

And it’s only 1.5 hours from Melbourne! This place And it’s only 1.5 hours from Melbourne! This place is one you have to see with your own eyes! 😍

This is Pink Cliffs Geological Reserve, once a hydraulic sluicing site, a gold mining activity in the late 19th century that washed away the top layer of earth and revealed the colourful and dramatic cliffs underneath! 💕

The cliffs are within a short walk from a gravel car park and can be accessed via a 30 minute scenic walk to lower and upper lookouts where you can take photos 📸

… just please keep off the cliffs to avoid unnecessary erosion that may destroy these geological landforms! ‼️

Welcome to the land of the giants in Sequoia Natio Welcome to the land of the giants in Sequoia National Park 🌲

This is definitely a spot for the bucket list… these trees make you feel like an ant in their world!✨

4 years ago I visited here in the snow and checked out General Grant but this year I discovered a few other trails that were open…both of course equally as impressive! 😍

This time we visited:
🥾Big Trees Trail - 0.7 to 1.2-mile / 1.9km, mostly flat loop around Round Meadow
🥾General Sherman (the largest tree in the world)
🥾Congress Trail - 2.7 miles / 4.3km circuit

Have you visited this magical place before? 🤔
